OKC Trip Yesterday

Yesterday, we made another trip to OKC. This time to meet with the transplant doctor, transplant cordinator, and social worker. After visiting with the transplant doctor, he decided that if it was ok with us he would like to put Johnny on the transplant list. He really wasn't sure what caused his cirrhosis, but has seen numerous factors in his work-up that lean towards an auto-immune disease that has attacked his liver. We, also, got to talk to the social worker and she said that Johnny has a great support system to help him along the road of tranplantation. So, on Tuesday they are going to meet with EVERYONE who has seen Johnny and decide if they think he will be a good canidate for tranplant. I am going to call Tuesday and see if I can find out the results of the meeting! Please, please, please keep us, the doctors, and everyone else involved in your prayers on Tuesday morning.
